How it works
01
Sign up with email and password. Your profile starts with a timezone so the day lines up with where you live.
02
Choose Morning, Work, Weekly, or Blank—then rearrange panels whenever the day needs a different shape.
03
Notes, tasks, timer, sleep, habits, calendar—one calm surface instead of a scatter of apps.
04
Open your archive for any date, regenerate a digest, or publish a public day post when you’re ready.
Why Ghost Writer
Capture is first-class. You don’t need a perfect system before you’re allowed to write something down.
Panels bend to the day you have—not a fixed dashboard that fights you when priorities shift.
When memory is patchy, the day digest is evidence the day happened—and what you chose to keep.
Your dashboard stays yours. Notes and day posts are public only when you flip the switch.
FAQ
Only you, unless you mark a note public (/n/…) or publish a day post (/p/…). There is no social feed.
No. Empty or quiet days still get a digest. Log what you can and skip the rest.
In Settings, enter your Apple ID email and an app-specific password. Ghost Writer reads today’s events over iCloud CalDAV—it does not write to your calendar.
A scheduled job runs once a day and writes the local calendar day that just ended. You can also regenerate a day from the blog.
No. Ghost Writer is a personal productivity and journaling product. It doesn’t diagnose, treat, or replace care.
Yes. Bulk-export captures as Markdown (with media) for Obsidian or any Markdown vault.
